Don't you just love a total transformation? We picked up a set of ottomans and a sofa belonging to a lovely customer who needed some serious updating in the style stakes. They picked out a lovely slinky and soft touch fabric and a floral fabric with a hint of metallic for their cushion and ottomans. So here are the working stages of the Sofa Transformation from a husk (frame) to stunning sofa and ottoman set by the Epiplo Aris team. Enjoy!

My Morocco Part 1: Ksar Char-Bagh, Marrakech
Once upon a time I dreamed about the pink city that is Marrakech with it's exotic vibe and interesting sounds, smells oozing from the Souks, Medina's (old town) and colourful Bazaars within. I've seriously wanted to take a little trip here to discover everything about this wonderful, mysterious & bustling city and basically get my hit of 'Arabian Nights' style architecture & fascinating stories. Well this is part 1, in the series that will become a hot spot collection of fabulous hotels in Morocco, starting with Kser Char-Bagh in Marrakech. I found this gem of a hotel on Mr & Mrs Smith when searching for boutique hotels... enjoy!
In a nutshell, there are 13 luxurious Harem suites (this place is definitely suited for couples), all with private gardens and terrace - you have to see the view of Atlas Mountains, it's simply breathtaking!

Headboard inspiration
We still have a thing about headboards at Epiplo Aris, we love indulging in what's new, and what's out there that's going to inspire us and our customers.
We love these headboards below.

Charlotte Street Hotel -2 images above via Design Hotels
Must mention that the Charlotte Street Hotel does a kick-ass breakfast, one that i'll never forget on a cold winter morning. Also close by are some of the best restaurants and bars.
Best pick of restaurants: Ping Pong, Gaucho, Crazy Bear, Shochu Lounge (great cocktails too), Roka, Fino, Dim T and Koba - by far one of the best Korean restaurants in London.

Birds, Chinoiserie...beautiful stuff
Aren't these images just darn pretty?
The one below is from Style Court, it is a bit old, but still, the Chinoiserie style wallpaper just has that something spectacular. Aparently it was from an old issue of Elle Decoration and is one of De Gournay's fantastic hand painted works of art - i mean anything from wallpaper to fabrics and porcelain. I knew there was something vaguely familiar with this image - should have recognised the signature style from the website of course!

Interior Designer - Kara Mann
Who? Kara Mann is a Chicago based interior designer, who established her own company a few years ago, and since then become an unstoppable force in the Interior Design world.
Her work is a combination of good taste, modernity and bringing that together with elements of traditional... there's also an pinch of seductiveness in her style which I personally love... Take a peek and see what you think.
