Ahoy there! Armonia yacht gets ready to hit the islands!

Summer time hit a long time ago in Greece, yet we've still been inundated by Yacht owners who wanted to freshen up the look of their Yachts so they were ready to sail off into the sunset.
Our team have worked on a variety of yachts now, so this speedy job took just over a day to get ready. All that was needed was a quick change of a tarp, seat covers and new seating/cushions.

Aris and Tamir: working hard! It's so hot!

MODERN BEAUTY UPHOSTERY JOB

We love a good makeover at Epiplo Aris. Check out this sterling job we did over the weekend.
The client left the shop with a big smile on their face. It's a definite update on the usual chocolate tones and traditional fabrics... this stunning silver teamed black crocodile seating is a refreshingly has a modern edge to what could otherwise be a simple chair.

Outdoor living: stylish design we love

Our current obssession lies within all things outdoor, so when we came across Paul Joseph Hopper (amazing and talented Interior designer) blog and his high recommendation of Patricia Urquiola's work, we just had to see what all the fuss was about. Well, all we can say here is 'stunning'! This is what stylish outdoor living is about.

Below are just a few more lustworthy bits of stylish out door living images we love.

Design Newsflash! - Kimono New York

One of the team is currently reading 'Memoirs of a Geisha' - a fictional true confession of one of Japan's most celebrated geisha. Which has currently brought us to the attention of these beautiful pieces found in the Kimono New York company located in NYC Garment district.

The kimono chaise and Hakama chair were created by design genius William Gordon and manufacturer extroadinaire Walter P. Sauer. Both exquisite designs are made from traditional Japanese kimono fabric
made from Nishijin silk obi. This type of weave originated from Kyoto, Japan and is considered a style of Art due to it's capability to produce complex weaving patterns and is only seen nowadays in wedding attire or clothing for formal occasions.

Chic Retreats & Stylish holiday homes 9.07.09

Sorry, we've been away for short while.... have you missed us?

Since checking out a few other stylish getaways, we thought we'd add some more chic retreats and stylish holiday homes to our portfolio of style, design we love most. We've looked a few place from rustic-esque places to poolside paradise in Greece.
We stumbled across
Castello di Vicarello in Maremma, Italy, which stood out like the fairytale - Rapunzel's castle and country house hotel where the view of Tuscany’s green hills and blue sea will enchant you. The decor is evey bit relaxing and has this calming effect, with quirky and intersting bit of furnishings scattered about.
Roses, lavender and mulberry are just a few scents you'll catch whilst wandering the gardens... totally enchanting.

Agios Sostis retreat in Mykonos just has that sylish something, whether it's the infinity-edge pool or the
stone brick villa itself... there is definitely something that screams chic retreat.

oops, i'm having trouble where i spotted this little gem... any help would be lovely.
Nevertheless, this is so on our love list!
