Random pretty cool things

Once in a while I like to pop into Oliver Bonas for pretty pretty things, be it clothes, stylish cards, homeware goodies, stationary & books, you name it, they have it.
This month I'm adoring their Pavillion bird wallpaper, totally quirky cool newspaper print chips and sauce holder, Blyton picnic hamper and oak storage boxes with butterfly style clasp.

I totally love this! Remember back in the day when they wrapped fish n' chips in newspaper?

I'm feeling the need to change a few things inside the home, you know that feeling where you're a little bored of the look you've got going inside your home? The thing is, I love so many various interior styles, including Hollywood glam 50's era, a bit of shabby chic antiques, Chinoiserie to fresh and modern interiors.

Recently, I've seen a lots of beautiful things that I really really want, including the antique cabinet from Horchow above. Isn't it just gorgeous? I love everything about it and the fact that it oozes character. One off pieces thrown into the mix is my kinda thing, unique accent pieces do it for me as does turquoise! I have no idea how much shipping is, but it'll be way out of my budget, a girl can dream for sure.

Dining Chair makeover in a flash!

Hi Everyone,

Phew, what a day. We had a request from a client which required a very quick turn around... We're assuming she was entertaining guests in the next few days. Anyhow, have a peek at the photos of a before and after makeover on a set of dining chairs.



That wasn't the only thing that needed a makeover, our blogspot looked a bit dark and well not exactly what we had in mind, but it had 3 columns which was ideal. Nevertheless, the challenge was on to bring this blog up to date. What do you think?

Seat Cushions

We thought we'd take you through the initial stages of re-upholstering dining chair seat cushions. Giannis below is ripping off the old padding and fabric.

Spot print Sofa job

It's been a busy week at Epiplo Aris, Tamir here is working on a clients sofa which is in serious need of updating. A modern Spot print was chosen and Tamir got to work in no time.

Before continuing with padding the wooden framework, we had to check it was still strong and intact. High density foam cushions and also padding were required for the job in hand.

Newly applied padding to the framework, Tamir starts measuring to

determine how much fabric is needed.

Piping for the Sofa

The finished products! Amongst all the other jobs this was completed in record time of 5 days, rather than the usual 3-4weeks. Please note that each job we take on is carried out in-house and every piece has the same high quality craftsmanship.
