Inspiration: Cool Kids Spaces

Of one of the spaces i tend to think about least are kid's nurseries and bedrooms, but with a lot of my couples ready to pop with their sprogs i'm delving into unchartered territories to help inspire their already growing little ones and also to provide a little inspiration for the newcomer's arrival. Check out the below for some serious awesomeness!

I'm a big fan of the lovely couple Sherry & John over at Young House Love and their complete home rennovation skills! Seriously these guys know all kinds of DIY. Recently they've introduced a new member to their family and along the way they've been turning what used to be a guest room into the nursery for their baby girl. You can see more of the transformation here, but here's a little taster. I particularly like the closet space with dinky clothes hung up!

Hotel Azucar, Mexico

I love the sunshine and in Athens, summer is officially here. However, it doesn't stop me from dreaming of distant shores of San Rafael, Mexico and this gorgeous little hotel, Azucar. If you're looking for luxe you won't find it here, as the decor is all about going back to basics, as the 20 bungalows (each with private terrace & hammock), thatched roofs have furniture made from driftwood. What this place will do for you is work wonders on the soul, enjoy the light breeze from the sea, the relaxing luscious environment and the starry sky at night.

I love the chilled out vibe and accents of pink!

Oooh, i could so be lounging on that hammock right now, it's too hot to do anything else

Lemon Drops

Don't you just love how a dash of lemon be it a soft pastel or citrus neon, makes a room so much more colourful and fresh? A particular favourite combo of mine is grey with pops of lemon.
